First five Morne Steyn scored 26 points, including two tries, as the Springboks beat Italy 55-11 in East London.
The 7-try win gave the Springboks a 2-0 series victory after they won the first test 29-13 in Witbank last weekend.
Bryan Habana equalled South Africa's try-scoring record of 38 set by Joost ven der Westhuizen.
It was South Africa's final match before they start the defence of the Tri-Nations championship against New Zealand in Auckland on July 10th.
