One-match bans for Cahill, Khune

The Socceroos midfielder Tim Cahill and South Africa's Itumeleng Khune have each received a minimum one-match ban for their straight red cards at the World Cup.

Cahill was sent off for a foul on Bastian Schweinsteiger during Australia's 4-0 loss to Germany, though the German told Cahill after the match he didn't deserve a red card.

Khune's one-match ban follows his bringing down of Luis Suarez which led to one of the three goals South Africa conceded to Uruguay.
