The CEO of the New Zealand Rugby Union Steve Tew says new signing and league convert Sonny Bill Williams has been given no guarantees he'll become an All Black.
Williams will play in this year's national provincial championship after signing a contract with the NZRU until the end of 2011 to pursue his dream of playing for the All Blacks.
However Tew says if Williams isn't good enough he won't be picked.
He says Williams will decide which province he plays for when he returns to New Zealand next month.
