The LA Lakers power forward Pau Gasol says his side must improve their defence if they're to have any chance of beating the Boston Celtics and retaining their NBA basketball title.
The best of seven finals series is tied at one all with game three in Boston set to tip off at one o'clock this afternoon.
Gasol says the Lakers should have won game two and they can't afford to allow the Celtics to seize the initiative.
Game three gets underway at 1 pm.
