The wealthy French rugby club Toulon have signed the former Wallabies flanker George Smith for the 2010/11 season.
The Wallabies' most-capped forward and the fifth most-capped player in the game, joins an influx of new signings at Toulon, including the former All Black prop Carl Hayman.
The 29-year-old Smith announced his international retirement in February.
