The Central Pulse netball coach Yvette McCausland-Durie says hopefully her side will grow in confidence from their over-time loss to the Northern Mystics in the trans-Tasman championship on Monday night.
The Pulse have had just one win in two and a half years of the competition and have been beaten in overtime a couple of times.
They went close to doubling their number of victories in Auckland, up by six goals in the final quarter, before losing by one.
McCausland-Durie says in the past some players have doubted what they've been doing and have therefore deviated from the plan, however they stuck to their task against the Mystics.
The Pulse play the Canterbury Tactix this weekend.
