The West Indies cricketers have beaten Ireland by 70 runs in a rain-interrupted match on day one of the ICC World Twenty 20 championships in Guyana.
The Irish bowling effort featured four overs from the 17 year old left arm spinner George Dockrell, who took 3 wickets for 16 runs.
However, the Windies 138 for 9 proved an easy target to defend on the tough batting wicket, and Ireland were all out for 68 in the 17th over, Darren Sammy the pick of their bowlers with 4 for 8.
