The England midfielder David Beckham won't be fit to play football again until November, as he continues to recover from surgery to repair his torn Achilles tendon.
Beckham, who's already ruled out of the world cup finals in June, suffered the injury in March while on loan to AC Milan from the Los Angeles Galaxy.
He's now likely to miss the entire Major League Soccer season in the United States, saying he won't be able to run for another three months and started therapy ten days ago.
While Beckham won't be playing for England he's still expected to travel to South Africa and take on some form of management role with the squad.
