The Chiefs forward Sione Lauaki will miss their Super 14 match against the Hurricanes this weekend as he continues to recover from his car accident at the weekend.
Lauaki is said to have fallen asleep at the wheel of his car while driving from Hamilton to Auckland in the early hours of Saturday morning following his match against the Cheetahs.
The Chiefs coach Ian Foster says the big loosie won't be involved this week and it is best that he spends time with his family and comes back into camp next week in better shape.
