It appears that Springbok coach Peter de Villiers is about to make changes to his support staff.
De Villiers is quoted in The Cape Times newspaper as saying that some of his support staff had not been supporting him, that he had taken the matter up with the South African Rugby Union and that changes would be made.
Forwards coach Gary Gold was mentioned in the report as the man likely to face the chop, and it was suggested that there had been tensions between the pair during their two years together.
According to the report, part of De Villiers' dissatisfaction were media stories last year that the Springbok team was being run by the players and the assistant coaches.
