The Western Force's hopes of toppling Super 14 rugby leaders the Crusaders on Friday night in Perth have been dealt a blow with fullback James O'Connor ruled out of the match with a shoulder injury.
O'Connor suffered the injury during last week's loss to the Blues and is likely to be sidelined for two weeks.
Mark Bartholomeusz will switch from the wing to fullback to cover for O'Connor.
