The New Zealand cricket vice-captain Ross Taylor has signed to play for Durham in this year's English County Twenty20 competition.
Durham have also picked up the South African all-rounder Albie Morkel.
The Twenty20 competition starts on June 4th.
Taylor says he's really pleased to be part of Durham's campaign, after their recent Championship success and he wants to be a major contributor in the team that replicates that in Twenty20 competition.
He has previously experienced English conditions having turned out for Norwich and Coltishall Wanderers in Norfolk, he twice represented the MCC and also played four ICC World Twenty20 warm-up games last year.
