Martina Navratilova, one of the finest female tennis players of all time, has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The 53 year old Czech-born American has told People magazine she was shocked by the result of a routine mammogram, but she'll be starting six weeks of radiation therapy next month, and the prognosis for survival was extremely good.
