The Australian cricketers are on the verge of a two nil series win over New Zealand, with the Black Caps 185 for five, at stumps on day four of the second test, needing 479 to win.
Australia declared at 511 for eight at lunch, having started day four at 333 for four.
Brent Arnel with three wickets was the best of the Black Caps bowlers.
All of New Zealand's batsmen got a start and reached double figures but the top score in the second innings so far is only 29, by Matthew Sinclair and Martin Guptill, although Guptill's not out along with Brendon McCullum's who's on 19.
