Ko shot a seven under 65 in her final round at the Swinging Skirts Championship to finish at 11 under for the tournament.

It's Ko's third runner up finish this year but the 20-year-old remains winless this season.

She finished six shots behind runaway winner - South Korea's Eun-Hee Ji who also carded a 65 in the fourth round.

It's Ji's first win in eight years, her last coming at the US Women's Open back in 2009.

Ji calmly tapped a three-foot par putt on the 18th to capture her third LPGA title and her first since her U.S. Women's Open triumph in July 2009.

"I'm so happy and excited because I haven't won for the past eight years," said Ji, who finished with a 17-under 271. "So I was waiting for this moment for so long, so I'm super happy right now."
