Top qualifier Wellington secured their place in the final with a comprehensive 49-21 win over Northland in the capital.
The homeside scored six tries to two.
Bay of Plenty beat Otago 48-32 in the other semi-final in Tauranga.
Bay of Plenty scored seven tries to four.
The winner of the Championship final will be promoted to the Premiership next season, replacing Waikato.
Meanwhile Counties Manukau will play Canterbury in the women's final.
In the semi-finals Counties Manukau beat Auckland 22-17 and Canterbury beat Waikato 60-26.
In the Heartland Championship, Wanganui will play Horowhenua Kapiti in the Meads Cup final and Mid Canterbury will play West Coast in the Lochore Cup final.
