Carrington and her partner Caitlin Ryan won gold in the women's K2 500 by nearly two seconds over Germany with Slovenia in third.

Carrington then went on to claim silver in the K1 500, finishing just two tenths of a second behind Belarussian Volha Khudzenka.

The Rio double olympic medallist is also through to her favoured K1 200 final after finishing fastest in her semi final.

She'll also link up with Ryan, Aimee Fisher and Kayla Imrie in the women's K4 crew for the 500 final later tonight.
