New Zealand Cricket has confirmed that the Black Caps tour to Zimbabwe will not proceed as planned in June.
The New Zealand Cricket chief executive Justin Vaughan says the Government's assessment of the security situation in Zimbabwe has not changed from that of a year ago, when the New Zealand scheduled tour was postponed.
Vaughan says New Zealand Cricket has told Zimbabwe cricket their position and suggested a postponement of the tour until 2011.
He says the other option is to look at playing the tour at a neutral venue.
