The Northern Mystics continued their resurgent form with a 59-55 win over Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic in their New Zealand netball Premiership Hamilton last night.

The Magic secured a bonus point out of the clash as the race for a top three spot tightened but fell to their second loss to the Mystics this season.
The Magic are second ahead of the Pulse on goal difference with the Mystics fourth, the unbeaten Southern Steel top the table.
Mystics co-captain Maria Tutaia was a strong influence on attack with her perfect feeds to fellow shooter Bailey Mes and pin-point accuracy on the shot, a confident Mystics took control of the match from the outset.
In the third quarter The Mystics continued the pattern when delivering another strong start, five unanswered goals providing the momentum for the visitors to hold the upper hand.
The Mystics next face the Northern Stars next week, and the Magic play the Southern Steel.
