Counties Manukau have qualified for the semi-finals of domestic rugby's premiership after defeating competition leaders Canterbury 33-21 today in Pukekohe.

Ahead 7-6 at half time thanks to a Toni Pulu try, Counties took control of the game in the second half through tries to Pauliasi Manu, Cardiff Vaega, Richard Judd and a second to Pulu.
Piers Francis kicked one conversion for Steelers and Luteru Laulala three.
Canterbury only cut the chalk twice in the second spell through Daniel Lienert-Brown and Nathan Earle before their goal kicker Jordan Barrett finished the match with 11 points from three penalties and a conversion.
Both teams will appear in next week's semi-finals.
