New Zealand motor racing driver Scott Dixon has won the penultimate round of the Indy Car series in the United States.

Dixon, who started on pole, dominated the race at Watkins Glen in New York, to finish well clear of the field.
He led 50 of the 60 laps and stretched his last tank over the final 19 laps to cruise across the finish line 16.53 seconds ahead of Josef Newgarden.
It was his second win of the season and fourth ever on the 5.42km permanent road course in New York.
He improves three places to third in the overall championship standings, but is too far back to contend for the title, with the final round in California in a fortnight.
Dixon, 36, said his car was exceptional this weekend.
"These are the weekends you definitely don't forget. Just in the shear fact that we had such a smooth one, which made it hard also going into the race. We'd been fast in practice, fast in qualifying, and then obviously got the pole."
"I love coming to upstate New York. This track is one of the old school great American tracks that we are lucky enough to come back here and race."
It was his 40th career Indy Car win and moves him into outright fourth on the all-time list ahead of Al Unser
Series leader Pagenaud finished seventh in the race while Power crashed out in 20th place after making contact with Charlie Kimball on Lap 39.
He was checked and released from the infield care center but not cleared to drive pending further evaluation of concussion-like symptoms.
Pagenaud takes a 43-point lead over his Team Penske teammate Power into the double-points finale, the Grand Prix of Sonoma on September 18.
