The New Zealand cross country skier Kate Calder has failed to qualify for the 1.4 kilometre sprint classic at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
Calder finished 47th in 4 minutes three seconds which left her 12 seconds outside the qualifying time for the top 30 for the quarter-finals.
