The Football Ferns coach John Herdman is calling for more from his senior players after Australia beat them 3-0 at North Harbour Stadium.
A recent run of close results away from home had built hope that the Ferns might snap an 18-match trans-Tasman losing streak in their first home game in three years.
Herdmann says he's very, very disappointed because his young players are much better than they showed last night.
