7:12 pm on 16 February 2010

Bad weather is set to return to the Olympic mountain area and could cause further delays for the alpine ski events, with race organisers doubtful that tomorrow's women's downhill training will go ahead.

The weather forecast is for moderate to heavy snowfall overnight, reducing to flurries in the morning.

The women's race organiser Atle Skaardal says if the weather forecast is correct, the women's downhill training run will not be able to go ahead.

The forecast also suggests a likelihood of fog tomorrow, which could be hamper racers' vision.

As well as the women's training, the men will compete for a medal in super combined event on the adjacent slope.
