Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar smashed centuries to give India a first innings lead over South Africa on the second day of their deciding cricket test at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
Sehwag made 165 off 174 balls and Tendulkar 106 - his 47th test century, but South Africa finished the day well by dimissing both centurions, and Subramaniam Badrinath within the space of five runs.
India are 342 for 5, leading by 46 runs, but they need to win this final match to square the series and retain their number one spot in the world test match rankings.
