Taurua wary of possible rule changes

Southern Steel coach Noeline Taurua hopes Australia doesn't break rank with the international rules and decide to adopt a 2-point shot in their new domestic netball competition.

As planning continues for next year's revamped eight-team competition, Netball Australia has established a working group of past players and coaches to consider proposed rule changes.

Two-point shots, rolling substitutions, and set time outs are among the key rule changes on the table for the new league, which will start in February next year.

Noeline Taurua told Bridget Tunnicliffe adopting a 2-point shot, which was trialled at the ANZ pre-season tournament this year, would have a ripple effect on the game.
