Bad light suspends play in Hamilton

The New Zealand cricketers recovered to to 258 for five when bad light resulted in a second suspension of play late in the third session of play in the test against Bangladesh in Hamiltion.

A century partnership between Martin Guptill, who's on 80, and Brendon McCullum, who's on 58 rescued the Black Caps , who were teetering on 158 for five when the captain Dan Vettori was bowled to 10.

Play started an hour late after a wet morning after Bangladesh won the toss and decided it was best to bowl in the cloudy, humid conditions.

The Black Caps were 73 for three at lunch after losing Tim McIntosh for 7, with the score on 17.

The other opener, BJ Watling, followed for `13, then Peter Ingram went after making a quick 42 in his first test and Ross Taylor followed for 40.
