The former Wellington back Riki Flutey returns to the England rugby side at second five for this weekend's Six Nations match against Italy.

Flutey was originally picked for the Wales game, having missed the November internationals with a shoulder injury that has reduced him to a handful of games for his French club Brive, but had to pull out after suffering a dead leg in training.

He was joint top try-scorer with Ireland's Brian O'Driscoll in last year's Six Nations with four and earned a place on the British and Irish Lions' tour of South Africa, playing in the victorious third test.
