The All Whites coach Ricki Herbert has warned is striker Rory Fallon that if he doesn't play in the World Cup warm match against Mexico next month there's no guarantee he'll make the final squad.
Fallon scored the winner against Bahrain that sealed New Zealand's place in June's World Cup finals in South Africa.
Herbert has included Fallon in the squad to play Mexico in Los Angeles early next month, despite Fallon's wish to stay with his club Plymouth Argyle as they try and avoid relegation from the English football Championship.
But Herbert says the match is being played in a FIFA international window and all the rights are with New Zealand.
