Palmerston North golfer Tim Wilkinson's had a bogey-free round of 67 to share fourth place at the halfway stage of the latest PGA Tour event at Pacific Palisades in California.
Wilkinson shot four birdies in his four under par second round for six under overall in rainy conditions at the Riviera Country Club, he's four strokes behind the current leaders, the Americans Steve Stricker and Dustin Johnson, who are 10 under.
On the European Tour, Mark Brown, Danny Lee and Michael Campbell have all missed the cut at the Dubai Desert Classic.
Gareth Paddison's the best of the New Zealanders at Victoria's Moonah Classic, he's seven shots off the leader in a tie for ninth. Phil Tataurangi and Bradley Iles are three shots further back while Hamish Robertson, David Smail and Michael Hendry are further back.
Michael Long, Mahal Pearce, Grant Waite, Steve Alker and Josh Geary all missed the cut.
