New Zealand will face Australia in the first quarter-final of the Wellington rugby sevens tournament after convincingly defeating South Africa by 19 points to 7 on Friday, their third win from three matches.
Sherwin Stowers once again proved the difference for New Zealand, scoring the first try and setting up the other two.
New Zealand also thrashed Niue 49-5 after their opening 29-5 win over Wales.
The match with Australia, who made it to the quarter-finals after finshing second in their pool behind Fiji, is at half past two this afternoon.
Fiji will play South Africa in their quarter final, Samoa will play Kenya and England face Canada.
