Retallick out for six weeks

All Blacks lock Brodie Retallick will miss the next four to six weeks of Super Rugby because of injury.

Retallick broke ribs in the Chiefs 36-32 loss to the Lions in Hamilton on Saturday night.

He's been left out of the squad for their trip to South Africa and Argentina with the Chiefs saying his estimated return to play is four to six weeks.

The Chiefs depart New Zealand for South Africa today for the first leg of their two-week international tour.

They play the Southern Kings at Port Elizabeth next weekend then fly to Argentina to take on the Jaguars in Buenos Aires the following weekend.
