The American golf legend Tom Watson says Tiger Woods needs to show some humility and appear in public to admit he "messed up" by cheating on his wife.
Woods has apologised for his actions through a statement on his own website, but Watson, the winner of eight major championships, says the world number one needs to go even further if he's to rebuild his image in the sport.
60 year old Watson, who's playing a tournament in Dubai this week, says before Woods returns to golf, he should be interviewed by someone and admit he screwed up, but that he's setting about regaining his wife's trust.
Watson also suggested the 14 times major winner would need to clean up his act on the golf course if he wants to be considered by his peers one of the great ambassadors of the sport.
