Wellington Phoenix remain sixth on the A-League football ladder, just inside the playoff places, after Western Sydney and Adelaide United played out a goalless draw in Parramatta last night.

Western Sydney still top the table with Adelaide now a point behind the Phoenix in seventh.
Perth can knock Wellington out of the top six if they win their match in Brisbane tonight.
While there were no goals in the match, there were plenty of chances - and a tinge of controversy - with both Western Sydney and Adelaide denied what looked good shouts for a penalty in the first half.
Wanderers striker Federico Piovaccari had a goal disallowed in the first half for a tug of Dylan McGowan's shirt a minute later Adelaide felt they should have had a penalty.
Michael Marrone burst into the box and was clattered into by Nikolai Topor-Stanley, but referee Ben Williams waved away the appeals.
Then just before the break Mark Bridge went down in the box under a challenge from McGowan, and again Williams felt there was no need to point to the spot.
The second half started at a similar pace to the opening 45 minutes but soon calmed down, with chances sparse compared to the first half.
Craig Goodwin's header forced a brilliant save by Andrew Redmayne in Adelaide's best chance, while Reds skipper Eugene Galekovic had to be alert to keep out Golgol Mebrahtu's free-kick late on.
In the end both goalkeepers couldn't be beaten to ensure their sides would take a hard-earned point and continue their unbeaten runs.
The Wanderers have now gone 10 games without defeat to remain at the top of the table, while Adelaide missed the chance to jump into the top six but are now unbeaten in their last five games.
Both sides are on the road next weekend, with the Wanderers travelling to Melbourne City while Adelaide makes the trip to Perth Glory.
