The new US F1 team has announced Argentina's Jose Maria Lopez as its first driver.
The 26-year-old will make his debut at the Bahrain Grand Prix, the opening race of the championship, on March 14.
He'll be the 24th driver from Argentina to race in Formula One and first since Gaston Mazzacane left Prost in 2001.
US F1 are located in Charlotte, North Carolina, and are the the only American-based team on the grid in 2010 and the first in more than 40 years.
