The former All Black fullback Leon MacDonald has been appointed assistant coach of the Tasman Makos.
MacDonald will assist Kieran Keane, who coached the 56-Test All Black in his school rugby in Marlborough.
MacDonald, who finishes his stint with Japanese club Kintestu in April, will also head the Nelson rugby Academy.
