The Wellington Phoenix were beaten 2-1 tonight in Cairns by the Brisbane Roar.

Roy Krishna scored for the Pheonix just at the end of the first half.
The Roar's Steven Lustica levelled the score at 71 minutes, and Jamie Maclaren kicked the winning goal four minutes from full time.
This evening's A-League football game is the first top-level national football game to be held in Cairns.
