Defending champion Rafael Nadal has moved into the quarter-finals of the Australian tennis Open with a come-from-behind victory over Croatia's Ivo Karlovic.
The second seed from Spain needed two hours and 36 minutes to beat Karlovic 4-6 6-4 6-4 6-4.
The big-serving Karlovic predictably won the aces' count 28-2 but Nadal held sway at the critical moments in a match that featured one break of serve in each set.

The Scottish star claimed his fourth successive straight-sets victory, beating American John Isner 7-6, 6-3, 6-2.
