Vonusti has won the major sprint race of the Wellington Cup carnival, the 1 million dollar Telegraph Handicap at Trentham.
Ridden by Noel Harris, Vonusti upset the more fancied horses to win easily from Tootsie and Stupendous.
The Wellington Cup is next weekend.
