NZ Under 19 cricketers win

The New Zealand cricketers have beaten Sri Lanka by 7 wickets in Christchurch to finish top of their group at the under 19 World Cup.

Logan van Beek and Timothy Johnston took 3 wickets each as the Sri Lankans were bowled out for 195 in the last over.

Opener Harry Boam scored an unbeaten 85 and James Neeshan 47 as the New Zealanders reached their target in the 44th over.

New Zealand will play Australia in the quarter-finals in Christchurch on Sunday after the Australians lost to South Africa in their last group match.
