Sam Warriner's won the Wanaka Half Ironman, repeating last weekend's win at the Port of Tauranga as she ran down Nicky Samuels in just the second lap and going on to win by over a minute.
In the men's race it came down to a sprint finish with local hope Tony Dodds losing out for the second year, this time to former World Championship under-23 bronze medallist Martin Van Barneveld with Austria's Andreas Giglmayr in third.
