New Zealand golfer Danny Lee says he won't be able to return home to play in the national open until the tournament's dates are changed.

The New Zealand Open has been played in the month of March for the past two years, around the same time as the PGA Tour's Arnold Palmer Invitational and the WGC Cadillac Championship which Lee says are tournaments he can't afford to miss.
"I'd love to go back to New Zealand, I hope they can change the dates to November or December if it's possible, but maybe one day eventually I'll go down there... I'd love to compete with my friends back in New Zealand."
Today marks the beginning of the four-week playoff when the Barclays gets underway in New Jersey.
The top 125 golfers from the PGA Tour's regular season make the trip to the Barclays and is then cut to the top 100 players at the following tournament.
Lee heads into the playoffs in 10th position on the Fedex Cup standings after his first win on the PGA Tour at the Greenbrier Classic earlier this year.
The 25-year-old has also notched up seven top 10s.
World Number One Jordan Speith leads the Fedex Cup points race after his standout season on the PGA Tour that includes wins at the Masters and U.S Open.
Lee says his confidence has continued to grow following his win at the Greenbrier Classic and believes he has what it takes to win the Fedex Cup.
"I know it's not going to be easy but I have a feeling that if I just do what I've been doing I'll have a good chance and hopefully I can make it happen," Lee said.
Lee said his new swing coach Drew Streckel has made a big impact on his game which has lead to his success this season.
Streckel and Lee have been working together since the 25-year-old's second place finish at the Peurto Rico Open last year.
"My game was very inconsistent and we've been tweaking little bits and now I'm very happy with my swing and it's always going in the right direction ever since I started working with him."
The last four Fedex Cup champions were all crowned following their wins at the final tournament of the PGA Tour's season - the Tour Championship.
Lee is grouped with U.S Open runner up Dustin Johnson and the man he beat at the 2008U.S Amateur - Patrick Reed for the Barclays tournament.
