The New Zealand Breakers have dropped to sixth in the Australian National Basketball League competition, after losing 78 to 83 to Wollongong last night.
The game was level at 39-all at halftime and the Breakers led 62-55 at three quarter time, but Hawks went on a point scoring spree early in the final quarter as the lead changes hands several times.
The Breakers prospects of making the playoffs are getting even slimmer, as they play second placed Perth tomorrow night.
