The Frenchman Stephane Peterhansel has won the third stage of the Dakar Rally in Argentina.
A veteran competitor in the event, Peterhansel steered his BMW to his 52nd special stage victory and his 19th on four wheels.
He's a six time event winner in the motorcycle category.
Peterhansel has an overall lead of four and a half minutes over Volkwagon's Carlos Sainz of Spain.
