Vatuvei's record came in his team's 25-to-21 loss to the Sydney Roosters last night at Mount Smart stadium in Auckland.
The Warriors and Kiwi winger scored in the first half, to help his side to a 14-6 half time lead.
The scores were locked up at 21-all before a final-minute Roosters try to take the game.
Vatuvei made his debut for the Warriors in 2004 and his Kiwis debut in 2005.
