The New Zealand golfer Lydia Ko has advanced two places into a tie for 20th after the third round of the latest LPGA tour event in Virginia.
The world number one shot a one under par 70 to move to three under for the tournament, eight strokes behind the leader Perrine Delacour of France.
Ko hit two bogeys and three birdies between holes 7 and 12.
The world number two from South Korea, Inbee Park, maintained her hopes of supplanting Ko at the top of the rankings by also carding a one under par third round, to keep a one stroke advantage over the New Zealander.
