This weekend's Rally Argentina is going to provide the New Zealand driver Hayden Paddon with possibly his biggest challenge so far on the WRC circuit.

Paddon has just completed his recce in Argentina and the Hyundai driver says some of the stages are the roughest he's ever seen.

He says some parts could be identified as proper 4-wheel-drive tracks and it will be a matter of guiding the car through without breaking it in places.

Paddon says this rally is going to be hard on the cars, so they need to respect that and try and have a consistent rally without too many problems.

He says while there is only 12 stages in this rally, the long stage lengths combined with no in-car spilt times means it will be really hard to judge the speed.

Paddon is 10th in the standings after 3 rounds..... he missed the opening event, finished 5th in the second in Sweden, but then crashed out of the second day of the Mexico Rally and failed to pick up any points.

Frenchman Sebastien Ogier in a Volkswagen tops the standings.
