The former Wellington Phoenix striker Paul Ifill has signed for Team Wellington for the rest of the ASB Premiership season.

The 35-year-old, who has recovered from an achilles rupture he suffered more than a year ago, has been training with the Phoenix for several months.
But New Zealand Premiership football rules mean that he was unable to play for the Phoenix's reserve team, which plays in the domestic competition, given he does not have a professional contract and the rest of the roster is required to be filled with youth players.
Ifill could make his Team Wellington debut as soon as January 25, when they take on Hawke's Bay United.
