Alker's up to 74th on the Fed Ex rankings - he was eight shots off the pace at the McGladrey Classic, won by the American Robert Streb.

Fellow New Zealanders Danny Lee and Tim Wilkinson missed the weekend - Rotorua's Lee missed the cut by four strokes while Manawatu's Wilkinson would've missed the cut too by seven shots but was disqualified for signing an incorrect scorecard.

Lee drops from 79th on the FedEx standings to a tie for 108th, while Wilkinson dips from 100th to 124th.
