Great old Aussie trainer dies

One of Australia's great horse trainers, Jack Denham, who saddled up Might and Power for a Caulfield Cup and Melbourne Cup double in 1997, has died aged 85.

Denham also trained Might and Power to win a Cox Plate, and having won the Golden Slipper for two year olds with Marscay in 1982, he was one of a select few trainers to have won Australian racing's "grand slam".

In all he trained more than 3,000 winners, including 59 group one winners.
